Yaki Lime Swizzle

The art of making cocktails comes full circle with this serve. Still fairly simple to make, this Yaki Lime Swizzle is a pleasure to the eye. Fresh juices and one of Bôtan's spirits of your choice make it a fruity thus herbal cocktail. Or you choose our Bôtan Citrus Spice or Citrus Ginger Allspice, or you go flat out for our Oriental Roast or the private collection Hanami spirit. 



50 ml - Bôtan Citrus Spice / Oriental Roast / Citrus Ginger / Hanami

20 ml Sugar water 1:2*

20 ml Fresh Lime juice

40 ml Fresh Grapefruit juice

50 ml Soda water

Longdrink glass with crushed ice

6 leaves of fresh mint

2 leaves + 1 for garnish of fresh purple shiso

2 wedges + zest for garnish of fresh Lime

2 wedges Fresh of grapefruit

How to make it

  1. Press the lime and pour through a fine sieve before usage
  2. Press the grapefruit and pour through a fine sieve before usage
  3. Take a beautiful longdrink glass and start building the first layer
  4. Build the cocktail in layers by switching ingredients and crushed ice
  5. Top off with soda water and swizzle to mingle all ingredients

*Make your own sugar water. Combine 1 cup of granulated sugar and 2 cups of filtered water in a pot. Bring to boiling and simmer until the sugar has dissolved. Allow cooking before storing in the refrigerator.
